SUMMARY
Driller for irrigation, commercial, industrial, and municipal water wells.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the safe and accurate set up of rig and all equipment.
- Operate drilling rig and associated equipment to drill commercial and industrial water wells, install well heads, well screen, casing, gravel pack and cement grout, and other well fixtures.
- Document geological formations encountered.
- Clean and disinfect water wells in preparation for use.
- Perform routine mechanical maintenance work on drilling rig and equipment.
- Maintenance of rigs.
- Supervision and training of crews for underground projects.
- Client contact on job sites.
- Operation and maintenance of all pump division equipment, including video van, sonar jet operations, testing and testing equipment and cranes.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Knowledge of types of casing.
- Knowledge of drill string.
- Knowledge of thread types.
- Knowledge of working derricks and drill floor.
- Ability to travel.
- Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Clean driving record.
- CDL preferable.
- Knowledge of Well Control systems and methods – current well control certification desired.
SUMMARY
Responsible for troubleshooting, installing and maintaining line shaft and submersible turbine pumps, as well as, well rehabilitation in agricultural, industrial, municipal and mining environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation and removal of line shaft and submersible turbine water well pumps
- Demonstrate ability to perform pump work in safe and efficient manner
- Trouble shoot well and pump problems
- Maintain detailed records-daily work, vehicle and safety reports
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, crew and customer
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2 or more years experience
- Experience in all phases of commercial, industrial and municipal well work including turbine and submersible pump work/well rehabilitation
- Welding, electrical and construction knowledge and experience are helpful
- Must have good driving record
- Class “A” license preferred
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the pump installer with all tasks required including assembly, disassembly, and installation of water well pumps.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in welding and cutting operation.
- Assist with pulling, setting and assembling pumps.
- Assist with maintenance of equipment.
- Drive support vehicles.
- Keep equipment and location clean.
- Follow all safety regulations.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2 or more years experience
- Welding, electrical and construction knowledge and experience are helpful
- Must have good driving record
- Class “A” license preferred
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Willingness to travel
SUMMARY
Perform work involving maintenance to keep equipment and machines in good working order. Perform repair work as needed as well as routine maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect, operate and test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
- Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work
- Provide routine maintenance on equipment, vehicles and machinery
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipment
- Use tools ranging from common hand tools to computer/electronic testing devices
- Order parts and supplies as needed by following proper procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at all times
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge of a variety of tools and equipment
- Ability to travel to worksites as needed
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers
SUMMARY
Part of the crew responsible for the maintenance and day to day operation of the rig.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs general maintenance of drilling and associated equipment.
- Loads and off-loads pipe and assists in rig movement.
- Checks dies in slips and tongs and all safety and riding belts to verify condition.
- Responds to emergency situations.
- Trips pipe – uses slips, tongs and elevators.
- Cut and thread pipe.
- Perform service maintenance on rigs.
- Follow all safety requirements.
- Assists in running casing and tubing as directed.
- Assists in catching samples and managing mud properties as directed.
- Clean and maintain work sites, shop and yard areas.
- Learn operation of the rig.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Knowledge of types of drill pipe and drill collars.
- Knowledge of thread types and tubing sizes.
- Knowledge of working derricks and drill floor.
- Ability to travel.
